Here in Colorado the Colorado Welsh Society exists and they just sent me an email that there's a Welsh Heritage Week coming up...NEXT WEEK. I am simultaneously excited and terrified. I will get out to at least one of the events one way or another and do my best to not chicken out and speak a little to anyone who will listen. They are also involved in some other annual Celtic events here, so we'll see how that pans out.

I came so close to chickening out and not going to the social tonight, BUT I DID IT! We sang songs in Welsh, I got pronunciation help with my Colorama album title, and I spoke the tiniest bit of Welsh to a native Welsh speaker. I DID IT! Ahhhh, so exciting!

There's a movie tomorrow about Patagonia. That should be fun!
