I've heard lots of stories of lounging on the deck at The Ship gazing out over the water ...

Hshd! Dim Saesneg!
No one ever drowned by getting out of their depth in a Welsh conversation.

Please DO read the forum guidelines. And how about putting up a poster or two in your locality?

You know, no matter how many times I see it, I can never read the Welsh abbreviation "mya" without first trying to parse it as "million years ago"... :)

Oh! It's milltir yr awr! As a latter-day Osian/RipvanWinkle in Wales, I had to wade through breast implants on google to find it. I'm lost with all these abbreviations (not just in Welsh) and IMHO we could do with a list ayyb of these. :-? :D Any volunteers?

AFTER Bootcamp is over :D . . . since even coming on the forum involves reading English, and no fooling, that's detrimental when you are trying to keep your head in Welsh. That may sound extreme, but it really was true for me.

I can give a quick sneak preview!
Making juggling balls and learning to juggle.
Building tall towers that mostly fell over.
Swimming in the sea (there are 4 bootcampers who swim morning AND afternoon!)
Lovely food.
Sleep (only 2 bootcampers didn't have a nap on Sunday afternoon!)
Film names, 20 questions.
Llandysul, Aberteifi, Castellnewydd Emlyn, Crymych.
And the pub.

I think that covers most things!

Show offs. Though obviously the waters are far more balmy than compared to the chilliness of May!
