Postby jashwntw » Wed Jun 26, 2013 4:32 pm

Pwy aiff i'r Bootcamp? A sut ewch chi yna?
Who'll be going to the Bootcamp? And how will you be getting there?

A little early maybe. Just two paydays for me.

I am Jason. I will be heading over by car from London friday, the night before Bootcamp. Having a well deserved cwrw break on the Friday night.

I'm not good enough to correct your grammar I'm affraid so any post relating to grammar I write is only something I feel I've heard or noticed but has no baring on how you should use Welsh.

That's my little disclaimer done. I'm really looking forward to your contributions :)

Hi Jason, I'm Mark and I live near Chester. I already did two bootcamps! Tresaith is a special place :)

I only remember Tenby, but I'm looking forward to discovering Tresaith

Are you going again in September? I bet your conversational welsh is amazing after 2 bootcamps!
I'm going; and will be travelling from near Glynarthen - about 10 minutes down the road! If everyone else doesn't mind, I was hoping to do food the first night ( vegetarian lasagne and chocolate cake) because I can make it at home and whizz it across on the day. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Seems like a long way off, but I know how quickly the summer (?!?) will pass. Hope the June bootcamp has gone well this week. Ros.

I read that normally the host family (Iestyn and Cat) usually do the first day. But if they are warned in advance there may not be a problem. Being a veggie I'd certainly be thrilled to be welcomed first day with a veggie lasagne. That's very lucky to be so near

Mark's Welsh is excellent. He doesn't really need to go on bootcamp at all. He just wants to. And who can blame him? :D
No one ever drowned by getting out of their depth in a Welsh conversation.

Please DO read the forum guidelines. And how about putting up a poster or two in your locality?
