Catrin will be very jealous of you - she's a worryingly passionate fan of Lleuwen's...:)

Lleuwen's husband has been using SSiW, and she was lovely enough to send us a copy of her latest album with a note on it thanking us for SSiW, which did nothing to dampen Catrin's fangirl fervour...

I think I share Catrin's fangirl fervour  It was a fantastic surprise to find she ( and Steve of course) were performing so nearby while we were on hols. She has a beautiful voice. Quite haunting. I think it may well have been a clip that Catrin put on here that drew my attention to her - the Nos Da Nawr lullaby. So diolch Catrin! Another favourite of mine is Dy Gynnal Di which she sang at Pesda Roc at a slower pace than on the album. What made that night extra special was that it was mine and Jim's 21st wedding anniversary too. She was very down to earth and friendly. I told her that I had heard of her and her Dad on SSIW and how they are both often mentioned on here. She seemed very pleased. Now you mention it I think she was telling me about her husband using SSIW but I didn't get everything she said. I do find the listening and understanding harder than speaking but I don't think I did too badly. :D
Please feel free to correct my mistakes. Diolch!

Yes I hear it!... Hiraeth - the link with the long-forgotten past, the language of the soul, the call from the inner self. Half forgotten - fraction remembered. It speaks from the rocks, from the earth, from the trees and in the waves. It's always there.
