Even though it was a meeting at the learners Centre with a tiwtor, the email exchange had been in formal welsh (thanks to patience, geiriadur.net and cysyllt!) so backing out and speaking English due to nerves (which I have been known to do!) was never an option!
Well the meeting was only short, but I managed to speak to the receptionist, and conduct the whole meeting confidently speaking Welsh and I understood everything and everything was fine! No bluffing required! My first official work-like meeting through the medium of Welsh. O'n i'n teimlo'n hollol dwyieithog a mor chuffed ar ol hynny!

I've been a bit rusty since the Christmas break, but I think i'm now back to where I was just after the Eisteddfod

Looking forward to the party tomorrow!

Hopefully the Welsh Encounters of the Nervous Kind board will be full of stories after the party!

Surreal fact: I went home after the meeting and opened golwg to find the same tiwtor staring back at me! He is the subject of this weeks Ugain Cwestiyn article. Byd bach!
