That! Exactly that. That thrill is what learning languages is all about :)

I've likened it in the past to that game off Takeshi's Castle, if you've ever seen that, where they have to run across the stepping stones. They launch themselves at full tilt out over the water without fully knowing what route they're going to take, and then have to find their path on the fly at high speed. It can be like that speaking in non-native languages sometimes: I find myself launching headlong into a sentence without being really sure where I'm going with it, and have to try and get to the other side without falling off :lol:
