Can't get any more welsh than 100%, I cant even play international rugby for any team other than Wales, all my Grand parents were born within 25 miles of Cardiff and I've never actually lived continuously in one place abroad long enough to qualify for anyone else. I don't judge my nationality based on my ability to speak welsh, a decision made by my great grand parents, I'm welsh.

Oh yes. I'm officially at least 146% better as a language teacher...

[In a little known bizarre factlet, I once won a maths competition for teachers. Okay, Maths teachers were excluded, and okay, it was only for one school, and okay, only about three people actually entered, but it's still one of my personal highlights... :wink:

Welsh conversations just keep happening to me!

This morning after the ship arrived in Rosslare I got a call from reception to say they had a foot passenger who had missed the passenger bus. I had the the receptionist send him down to the loading ramp and called for the bus to return.

While we waited I noticed his strong North Walian accent so I sai Ti Siarad Cymraeg.

5 minutes waiting for the bus to arrive spent practising my welsh.

Lack of confidence has never been an issue ;)

Time to practice is however a different matter.

My Job and my children are combining to wear me out I never get a chance to rest.
